Level 1 3D Printing
This Level 1 course starts the first week of every month on Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings.
Begin designing with TinkerCAD software to gain a basic understanding of the requirements, styles and structure of quality 3D printing.
Students will complete several 3D design projects in this 4-week course and prepare to expand their knowledge with the Level 2 course.
In this course students will begin designing with basic TinkerCAD software to gain an understanding of the requirements, styles and structure of quality 3D printouts.
- Week 1 (Class 1.1): The Basics of Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing)
- Week 2 (Class 1.2): Introduction to TinkerCAD and Editing Objects
- Week 3 (Class 1.3): Original Designs in TinkerCAD
- Week 4 (Class 1.4): Advanced TinkerCAD Topics: Assemblies & Multi-Piece Prints
Students will complete several 3D design projects in this course and prepare to expand their knowledge with the Level 2 course. Keep your 3D creations, downloads and leave with a sound understanding of 3D printing.

COMPLETION OF LEVEL 1 3D PRINTING IS A PREREQUISITE FOR ANY LEVEL 2 SESSIONS
